Do you like Halloween? Do you like dogs? Do you like running away from things while wearing a ridiculously impractical costume?
If you answered "yes" (or even a reluctant "sure") to any of the above, you need to be at Forsythia Crossing Park for the 2026 Foot Pursuit 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run!
We’re raising funds for our hard-working Police K9s! They catch criminals, sniff out trouble, and look 100x cooler in sunglasses than any of us ever will. Lace up your running shoes and join the Middletown Township Police Department for a spooktacular morning supporting their K9 Program!
Here’s the deal:
The 5K Run: Fully timed! Finisher medals for everyone plus awards for various age groups.
The 1-Mile Walk/Run: A nice, gentle stroll for kids, parents, and anyone who just wants to be part of an important community event!
Costume Contest: We want to see ghouls, goblins, hot dogs, and dynamic duos. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed in both the 5K and 1-Mile events!
Live K9 Demonstration: Watch our canine officers showcase jaw-dropping discipline.
Kids’ Fun: Spooky activities at the park to keep the little monsters entertained.
T-SHIRT DEADLINE: Register by October 1st to guarantee your shirt size!
