Everybody’s Running on the Weekend!

June 19, 2020 By Sam Cler

Saturday:

Washington Crossing Trail Run:  Group meets at 7:30 am at the Washington Crossing State Park river parking lot.  The park management has reduced the number of spots in this lot, so if you are planning on running past 9:30am, it is being recommended that you park on the PA side and run to the meeting place.

All runners should have a face covering.  If you do not have one, we can provide.  Be mindful of distancing and running in groups smaller than 10.  Be considerate when passing people that are hiking or walking on the trails.  Typically the group runs for about an hour.

Cramer’s Towpath Run:  Runners meet at 7 am and park at the Penn Community bank parking lot which is adjacent to Cramer’s bakery.  Runners need to have some form of face covering and be cognizant of your distance when running along the towpath and passing those that are walking or biking.  Typically the group runs 5-6 miles out and back.  If you do not have a face covering the club will provide you with a BCRR mask.

Sunday

Virgina Forrest Towpath Run:  Runners meet at 7 am at Virginia Forrest Recreation Area and will run a 7.3 mile loop.  There will be NO WATER or GELS on the course as per CDC guidelines.  Be sure you are prepared with water, gels if appropriate, and a face covering.  Depending on the size of the group we may send groups out in opposite directions.  Be considerate when passing people on the towpath and have your face covering handy.  If you do not have a face covering, the club will provide you with a BCRR mask.

More than a running club, we’re a community. Come for the run, stay for the fun. Visitors always welcome!
