Movie Night: The Barkley Marathons

July 18, 2019 By Sam Cler

BCRR Movie Night

at the Historic Langhorne Association

A famous prison escape sparks the idea for a cult-like race that has seen only 10 finishers in its first 25 years. This award-winning, oddly inspiring, and wildly funny documentary reveals the sports world’s most guarded secret.

Come find out why the Barkley Marathons is referred to as the race that eats its young!! A thrilling documentary about an incredible endurance race.

Food and drink will be Ultra marathon themed. The doors open at 6:30pm and the movie will begin at 7pm on Thursday, August 8, 2019. The Historic Langhorne Association building is a museum of Langhorne history, come early and peruse the artifacts in the old gothic library built in 1888.

The Historic Langhorne association has limited parking, so it is best to park on side streets.
Please check in on the Facebook Event and let us know if you are able to make it so we can plan appropriately.
