It was a little wet, a little windy and just a little bit short but we found a way to keep the hills of Tyler in the uncovered version of the Covered Bridge race. We hoped to be able to keep to the original course when we got there and saw the causeway clear but the water rose quickly and we were forced to change the course and decided on a quick re-introduction to the hills of Tyler by taking on Big Bertha to start the race. Great job to everyone who ran and thanks to all the volunteers!
